31 October 2009 - Deadline for submission of paper tax returns to HM Revenue & Customs for 2008-09.

31 January 2010 - Deadline for electronic submission of tax returns for 2008-09 . Self Assesment first payment on account due.

5 April 2010 - End of tax year 2009-10.

19 May 2010 - Forms P14 and P35 to be submitted to HM Revenue & Customs by employers.

31 May 2010 - Forms P60 to be given to employees by employers.

6 July 2010 - Forms P9D/P11D to be given to employees and to be sent to HM Revenue & Custom

31 July 2010 - Self Assessment second Payment on Account due
